6.30pm WED July 11 2012
The Multicultural Hub
506 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne 3000
I'll be on a panel with three others considering this issue
The Trial
SBS will be screening the documentary 'The Trial' at 9.30 on Wednesday evening 14th February 2012.
It is a powerful account of a terror trial, and well worth watching.
The film was hard to make because it had to navigate through numerous legal issues, and I helped with legal assistance through the process.
Obtaining a national screening for the film has been particularly difficult, as there have been other trials in progress and the DPP insisted that these other trials would be prejudiced by the film.
